We are looking for highly motivated postdoc, graduate, and undergraduate students to join our lab.  We work on large-scale data by integrating multi-omics, including but not limited to genome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome, at both the bulk tissue level and the single cell level, and digital clinical traits from imaging and wearable sensor readouts. We aim to develop new statistical methods and computational tools, to drive new hypotheses and provide insights for therapeutic benefits. If you are interested in joining our lab, please contact mwmeng@umich.edu.

Postdoctoral Fellows:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields is preferred. Please send your CV, research statement, and contact information of three referees to mwmeng@umich.edu.

Graduate and Undergraduate Students:

Please send your CV and transcript to mwmeng@umich.edu. Students at DCMB are strongly encouraged to contact me for rotation opportunities. Besides bioinformatics, students from the Department of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, and Biostatistics are also welcomed.

Prospective graduate students are encouraged to apply to the graduate program in DCMB, at the University of Michigan. For students apply through Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS), please select Bioinformatics as the preferred program.
